Meeting Patients Where They Are in SUD Treatment
Meeting patients where they are represents a fundamental paradigm shift—recognizing addiction within the complex context of an individual's complete life experience, seeing beyond symptoms to address the whole person including their trauma, social circumstances, cultural background, strengths, and aspirations.
